When you left me I felt like a stone,
I was no longer whole,
Everything that fulfilled me was gone,
Now there's no longer a soul.
I always had all types of thoughts,
Every day I felt like I was being used,
Until that day when you got caught.
I saw you with her; my heart was bruised.
I walked away hearing your voice,
At the moment I just wanted to hide.
I hope I've made the right choice,
It felt good leaving everything behind.
Now I realize that I was the one that left you
Now it's my turn to start on something new.
